The Bribie Cup Yacht Race is an annual event organised by Queensland Cruising Yacht Club. Commencing in 1952 with a single monohull division, the Race now boasts up to four divisions each year including a multihull division.

The Race starts off Shorncliffe then proceeds past Redcliffe Jetty and Scarborough Point to Deception Bay and finishes near the Bongaree Jetty on Bribie Island.

The Bribie Cup Trophy will be awarded to the monohull yacht with the highest calculated speed factor across all divisions.

The Councillors Cup will be awarded to the multihull yacht with the fastest corrected time across all divisions.

Teams Trophy will be awarded to the team consisting of two yachts with the lowest aggregate score based on placings in any Monohull or Multihull division.

The presentation of trophies and prizes for the Bribie Cup Yacht Race will be held at 9 am on Sunday 15th September at QCYC.
