Gladstone Ports Corporation Winter Series

The Gladstone Ports Corporation Winter Series is a popular fixture on the sailing calendar through the cooler months, combining competitive racing with social sailing on Moreton Bay.

The 2026 series kicks off on Saturday 13 June 2026 and is hosted by Queensland Cruising Yacht Club.

The series welcomes a broad range of boats, including monohulls, multihulls, sports boats, trailer sailors and SAGS sailors, with competitors joining from clubs across Southeast Queensland.

Racing includes a mix of passage races and short course racing, along with popular events such as the Winter Bell Challenge against Sandgate Yacht Club, the Otter Rock Plate team event with Moreton Bay Boat Club, and the Travellers Series passage races around Moreton Bay.

Proudly supported by Gladstone Ports Corporation, the Winter Series reflects QCYC’s long-standing connection with sailing and offshore racing through the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race.

Competitive on the water and welcoming back at the Club, the Gladstone Ports Corporation Winter Series is open to all clubs and offers a great way to keep sailing through winter.
