The Queensland Cruising Yacht Club, is located on Cabbage Tree Creek (27o 20’ South and 153o 05’ East), in the historical Brisbane bayside village of Shorncliffe.
With facilities including fuel, shopping and transport, close at hand, the Queensland Cruising Yacht Club has always been a popular destination for cruising and racing people from near and far.
The Clubhouse is set in a parkland like environment with views across Cabbage Tree Creek to Brisbane’s largest wetland environment reserve, the Boondall Wetlands and out to Moreton Bay. A short walk to the mouth of Cabbage Tree Creek, will afford spectacular views across beautiful Moreton Bay. QCYC can offers both marina berths for vessels up to 15m in length, pile moorings for multihulls and has a large hardstand storage area for boats on trailers.
The Queensland Cruising Yacht Club has a variety of facilities available to members and guests. Whether you are after a long term stay or casual visit our marina has all the facilities necessary to ensure you time here is well remembered.
Membership at the Club ranges from Social through to Full Membership.
The Club Bar & Bistro provides a great atmosphere to enjoy a meal and a drink.
Our Club has two rooms availalbe for large and small functions.
The Queensland Cruising Yacht Club conducts each year the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race, Surf to City Yacht Race and other events including the Vintage Yacht Regatta in June.
